Joya Drenth with her family
-Joya Drenth: Joya is the daughter of Jenna and Josh Duell. She has two brothers Kovan and Kyston. Joya has participated in girls soccer during the past four seasons and is a three time letter winner. She has received the Beets Hoke Teamwork awards twice, captain, ISCA Academic All State and ICGSA Academic All State for girls soccer. Joya was honored as the NLC All-Conference for girls soccer during her senior season. She has participated in girls tennis during the past four seasons and is a two time letter winner. Joya has received the NLC All Conference Honorable Mention and won the Individual Sectional and Regional Doubles Championship as a senior for girls tennis. She has been selected as the Top Kiwanis Scholar athlete for the past two years for girls tennis and girls soccer. Joya has received the JV Award, Beets Hoke Teamwork, Academic All State, IHSTeCA All-District, Captain, and Dan Chiddister Doubles Award for Girls Tennis. Joya enjoys playing the piano and being involved with art. She is involved in National Honor Society and Stay in Bounds Ambassadors at Goshen High School. Joya has a 4.177 GPA and is ranked 11th in her class. After high school, she plans on attending Huntington University to study psychology and to play soccer with the goal of getting a Master’s degree and becoming a counselor.
